This week, I am very excited to have hit another weight loss milestone.

I got my 3 stone weight loss award.

3 stone weight loss

Oh. Em. Gee!

Given my ridiculously pitiful past attempts at weight loss and diets, I honestly did not think this was even possible.

I never believed this was in me to achieve. How wrong was I?!

3 stone certificate

I actually felt quick sick and emotional pulling out that dreaded ‘before’ photo to share with you.

I’ve really grown to hate it. I never, ever want to go back there again. Ever.

I cannot tell you how good it feels to be standing here 3 stone lighter.

(Actually, the ‘during’ photo above was taken a couple of weeks ago when I was buying some new jeans – it was the most recent I could find so I’ve actually lost a couple of extra pounds since then!)

Weight Loss Update

Starting weight: 13st 8 lbs (US 190 lbs)
Current weight: 10st 7 lbs (US 147 lbs)
Weight loss so far: 3 stone, 1 lb (US 43 lbs)

Starting clothes size: 18 (USA 14)
Current clothes size: 10/12 (USA 6/10)

Forgive all the numbers!
With an international readership too, I try to include weights and sizes that everyone will ‘get’. (Sorry Australia – kilos would just confuse it even more!)

I will come back and update this post with a ‘this week’ photo as soon as I can. In the meantime, I was just so excited to share this news with you!

xoxo Natalie

Yay you! I can’t imagine how much you’re grinning right now – and probably twirling! I can only imagine the shopping trip you’ll treat yourself to….new everything :)

Oh I need a shopping trip, for sure! Everything!

Lingerie, PJ’s, belts – ALL my clothes are too big right now.
Then of course, I will need new accessories to match, right? :)

What fab results, you look amazing and your 3 stone award too. It’s such a great feeling when you look back at where you were and how far you have come. I’ve done the same recently and really enjoying the ‘new’ me! Well done.

It’s an AMAZING feeling, isn’t it?

I wish I could bottle this up and share it with everyone who is thinking about starting their own weight loss journey.

What a fab loss Natalie! You are one of my weight loss inspirations! I haven’t been brave enough to post a before pic yet because I still think I look like that…

Oh Latoyah, posting that awful ‘before’ pic was the best thing I ever did! It was my motivation to keep on going!

Your weight loss is just incredible. Three stone doesn’t sound *that* much but then you see your photos….! OMG indeed! Well done you! x

      Thanks, Donna!

I got my 4 year old daughter to stand on the scales today and she weighs just over 2.5 stone. I STRUGGLE to carry her for more than a few moments, but that is the weight (and more) that I carried all day, every day. Imagine carrying her on your back all day. Yikes!

      Oh Jennifer, thank you!
By sharing my journey, I do hope that if any women out there are feeling unhappy with their bodies right now, this may just be the inspiration they need to make a change. I only wish I did this sooner.

Many congratulations on the amazing weight loss! Especially as you’re a busy woman and a mother too, I know how difficult it can be.

Please feel free not to answer but since I am trying to lose almost exactly the same amount of weight, maybe a tiny bit more, I wonder, are you finding your boobs a bit deflated/ any extra skin on the tummy and arms? (I do find my post-breastfeeding boobs starting to look a bit deflated with even the minimal weight loss I’ve achieved so far). If so, are you doing anything about it- any creams/ massages/ other treatments?
