Happy New YearWoo Hoo! Welcome to a brand spanking New Year!

And a very, very Happy New Year to you all.

Throughout 2014, this blog has evolved from my personal weight loss journal into somewhat of a weight loss resource and inspiration for fellow slimmers.

Maybe it’s the super-simple family friendly healthy recipes? Maybe, it’s because I’m just a real mum with real weight loss issues who is just trying her hardest to be better today than yesterday? A real girl with real dreams working hard to reach her goals.

No pills, no shakes, no crazy fad diets. Just real food and real RESULTS!

And I thank each and every one of you for sharing this journey with me. For your support, your encouragement – I couldn’t have done this without you!

As we head into the New Year, I’m hoping we can expand upon the great little online community we have here, to help support, encourage, and inspire others to achieve their weight loss dreams too.  So please do leave comments and share the blog posts with your friends on Facebook!

This blog will be updated regularly with…

Weight loss motivation posts
Tips and checklists for your weight loss success
Diet information & tips
Slimming World recipes the whole family will love
Top tips for eating out and staying on track
Health news and guidance
Topical news stories relevant to health and dieting
And much much more….

Is there something you’d like to see on this blog? Please let me know!

I feel very excited for what 2015 has in store. This year I am determined to stay focused on improving my health, maintaining my weight loss and enjoy the new slimmer me. (Hello, clothes shopping!) Of course, I will be sharing all of that right here. I also look forward to growing this blog into an excellent resource for people who want to lose weight, get in shape and stay slim.

I hope you are all feeling positive about the New Year and I truly hope 2015 is great for you!

Onwards to 2015, my friends! Are you ready for it?!

Much love,
xoxo Natalie

Your weight loss is so inspirational Natalie. I started my long journey in April last year, and have moved 15kg since then. I have a long way to go, but am OK with that. I’ve always tried to quick fixes in the past, and realise that they just don’t work long term. So it’s slow and steady for me. If it takes me 3 or 4 years, then that;s OK. I’m following you now to help keep me motivated.

      Hey Di!

Quick fixes rarely help. The key for me was most definitely slow and steady (I averaged just over 1 lb per week) – but they all add up!

Good luck in reaching your goals x
