Another week… another weight loss
I feel like I can finally SEE the progress I am making and that is such a motivation to continue.
And even though this week was only a 1 lb loss, I am not disappointed. All those pounds add up. 21 lbs to be precise! And I achieved my 1.5 stone (that’s 21 lbs to my international friends ) weight loss award this week and got a fab certificate to mark the occasion. <<< insert happy dance! >>>
3rd January, 2014: starting weight 13st 8 lbs (190 lbs)
28th March, 2014: in-progress weight 12st 1 lb (169 lbs)
I am now *this* close to being in the 11-stone-zone. It’s been a while. I’m ready for it!
I also feel like my brain is finally in the game.
There’s a saying that goes something along the lines of, “if you do something enough times it becomes a habit” well, I think I’ve finally got there. I’m making healthier choices much more easily. I feel so much more confident in turning down temptation that is not aligned with my goals.
Last week, I sat and watched some guy friends DEVOUR a freshly-cooked Domino’s pizza. Ugh, and they had jam doughnuts too. Even though I was offered some, I had no issues in saying, “No.” I’m not joking when I say 3 months ago, I would have been face first into that dough!
Never trade what you want the most for what you want at the moment.
