We love Halloween in our house, but pretty much every year we have sweets and chocolate OVERLOAD.
Either the kids come home with a ton, or I buy way too much and it rains… meaning we get hardly any callers to our house. Regardless, it doesn’t help when you have zero willpower stopping you from eating it ALL!
This year, I decided to mix it up with a little pumpkin craft and make some fun candy-free Halloween treats. My kiddos are already begging to get their hands on them, so I hope they will be a winner on the night!
Crepe Paper Pumpkins
You will need:
- Orange crepe paper
- Green florist tape (or washi tape)
- Selection of Halloween novelties
For each pumpkin, cut two circles from your crepe paper. (I used an 11″ diameter saucepan lid as my template).
Place both layers together and top with Halloween treats.
skeletons // vampire teeth // skull bracelet // bubble ring // snakes // spiders // Halloween confetti
Gather the edges of your crepe paper circles around the Halloween treats to form a pumpkin shape.
Holding the edges to form a stalk, wrap with florist tape or washi tape to secure.
Do you take part in Halloween fun?
Tell me, what costumes do you have lined up for this year!
